ALUMNI Partners Advises the Founders of Swordfish Security on a Landmark Transaction for the Russian Cybersecurity Market
ALUMNI Partners acted as legal counsel to the founders of Swordfish Security, one of Russia’s largest providers of DevSecOps, AppSec) and AI Security solutions, in connection with the sale of a 42.155% stake in the group to Pre-IPO Fund 2, managed by WIM Investments, one of Russia’s largest asset management companies.
The ALUMNI Partners team provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction, including preliminary group structuring, preparation and negotiation of transaction documents, closing assistance, and advice on tax, commercial, employment and other aspects of the transaction. Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the sellers.
WIM Investments’ acquisition of a stake in the group opens up new opportunities for Swordfish Security to scale its business and accelerate the development of its product portfolio. The backing of an institutional investor will enable the group to strengthen its leading position in the Russian cybersecurity market.
