A major metallurgical plant

Represented interests of a major metallurgical plant before the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation in a case alleging a cartel agreement in relation to a series of tenders. During the hearings, the ALUMNI Partners team managed to convince the Commission of the FAS of Russia that the parties did not engage in cartel collusion and to get the case dismissed. Termination of a cartel case is a very rare decision to be taken by the antitrust agency.

Etalon Group

Advising Etalon Group on the acquisition of a 65% stake in a joint venture established to implement a major project for integrated territorial development of the city of Rostov-on-Don.

GEM Invest investment company

Advising a subsidiary of GEM Invest investment company on the acquisition of Modi LLC, managing the Modi chain of home, stationery and hobby goods stores, including legal assistance with obtaining approval for the transaction from the regulatory authorities.

RoccoForte Hotels Group

Advising RoccoForte Hotels Group on various complex corporate, commercial, regulatory (including counter sanctions) and tax legal matters in Russia.

Sovcombank

Advised Sovcombank on a number of high-profile projects, including acquisition of VCA Bank shares, support in negotiating and entering into a financial services strategic partnership agreement with IDRAM Mobile Payments LLC, and some other deals.

Rusnano

Advised Rusnano on the sale of 30,76% shares in Novomet, large manufacturer of oil and gas equipment, to industrial group Konar.

Alticor

Provided full complex support to Alticor, a major US corporation, in relation to the liquidation of its Russian subsidiary, AMWAY Russia, at all stages from planning and preparation up to successful termination of the Russian entity by way of liquidation.

Aqua Investments

Represented the producer of Essentuki mineral water in relation to obtaining, consecutively, approval by the FAS Russia for acquiring the producers of mineral water brands Narzan and Arkhyz. As the project progressed, our team proved that the mineral water sales market was competitive and that the transaction would have a positive social and economic effect. While implementing these projects, our team worked closely with the agro-industrial control department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
