ALUMNI Partners is acting as the lead legal counsel to the Russian party on legal matters relating to the investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the establishment of a Russian-Tajik industrial park in Dushanbe, the country's capital.

The decision to establish the industrial park was made in autumn last year, and the investment agreement was ratified by the Parliament of Tajikistan in July 2026. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, which oversees the project, has engaged the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan as an implementation partner.

The industrial park will be developed on a 9.3-hectare site in central Dushanbe. It is intended to become an international manufacturing hub for companies operating in the light industry, chemical, metallurgical and machine-building sectors, as well as medical equipment manufacturing, and is expected to contribute to increased trade between Russia and Tajikistan.

The ALUMNI Partners project team is led by Anton Panchenkov, Partner, Corporate / M&A and Head of Central Asia. Key members of the team include Anastasia Griman, Junior Associate, Corporate / M&A, and Alisher Khoshimov, Partner at Centil Law Firm in Tajikistan, who advises on matters of Tajik law.
