Yana’s professional focus is on the antitrust legislation, including control over economic concentration, unfair competition, agreement admissibility, dominance related issues and antimonopoly investigations.

As an Associate in the Antitrust and Competition Practice, Yana takes part in projects to advise and act for clients before antimonopoly bodies and commercial courts and during checks by antimonopoly bodies on observance of the antitrust legislation.

A major metallurgical plant

Represented interests of a major metallurgical plant before the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation in a case alleging a cartel agreement in relation to a series of tenders. During the hearings, the ALUMNI Partners team managed to convince the Commission of the FAS of Russia that the parties did not engage in cartel collusion and to get the case dismissed. Termination of a cartel case is a very rare decision to be taken by the antitrust agency.
