Vitaly Dianov

Vitaly focuses on cartel investigations, competition trials and abuse of dominance disputes. He has represented clients in a number of cases during cartel investigations, including “dawn raids” conducted by the antimonopoly authorities, and has participated in the majority of the competition trials the Firm has been instructed to take part in. Vitaly has also organised and examined a number of simulation “dawn raid” for clients. He has considerable positive experience of acting for clients in state arbitration courts, courts of general jurisdiction and commercial tribunals.
With his deepest expertise and hands-on litigation experience, as Partner for International Trade, Forex and Customs Vitaly is now building up the Firm’s customs litigation capabilities – a key specialism of his practice and an in-demand legal service.
For many years, Vitaly Dianov has been actively working on a voluntary basis for the Competition Experts Association (from 2014 to 2016 and from 2022 to the present – a member of the Association's Board Council). Since 2024 he is also the Head of the Association's Board Council.
