Anna’s area of expertise is antitrust and competition law.

She has broad experience of advising clients on various antitrust matters, including public procurement, abuse of dominance, merger control, anticompetitive agreements in particular cartels and anticompetitive coordination. Anna regularly represents clients in courts challenging decisions, orders and warnings of competition authorities.

Alongside Russian law, Anna is educated in some areas of the EU and German law.

As a member of the Antitrust and Competition team, Anna takes part in projects relating to advising and representing clients before competition authorities, antitrust audits, commercial and compliance policies for Russian and foreign clients.

Projects & Clients

A major metallurgical plant

Represented interests of a major metallurgical plant before the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation in a case alleging a cartel agreement in relation to a series of tenders. During the hearings, the ALUMNI Partners team managed to convince the Commission of the FAS of Russia that the parties did not engage in cartel collusion and to get the case dismissed. Termination of a cartel case is a very rare decision to be taken by the antitrust agency.

Aqua Investments

Represented the producer of Essentuki mineral water in relation to obtaining, consecutively, approval by the FAS Russia for acquiring the producers of mineral water brands Narzan and Arkhyz. As the project progressed, our team proved that the mineral water sales market was competitive and that the transaction would have a positive social and economic effect. While implementing these projects, our team worked closely with the agro-industrial control department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
