Successfully represented Pfizer Innovations LLC before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in a precedent-setting dispute against Axelpharm concerning unfair competition and related to the launch of a generic product prior to the expiry of the patent. The Supreme Court overturned the lower courts decisions and reinstated the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation to recover over RUB 513 mln roubles from the infringer.

Represented a major Russian construction materials manufacturer acting as a lender and facility agent under a syndicated loan agreement exceeding USD 70 million in the Russian Federation and multiple foreign jurisdictions. Despite adverse court rulings against the client and significant financial exposure, we successfully achieved an amicable settlement on mutually beneficial terms.

Represented a U.S. leading multinational corporation and the world’s largest coffeehouse chain in a series of precedent-setting trademark disputes concerning the protection of globally recognized trademarks. The disputes arose in the context of a local market brand adopting similar branding and trade designations. Our team developed and implemented a comprehensive enforcement strategy to preserve the client’s trademark portfolio in Russia and prevent the registration of confusingly similar trademarks.

Successfully represented Kola Wind Farm (formerly Enel Rus Wind Kola LLC, part of EL5-Energo PJSC, formerly Enel Russia) in enhanced cooperation with the client’s team in a dispute under a construction contract for a wind power plant worth over RUB 4 bn before the International Commercial Arbitration Court (ICAC) at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as in state courts, including the Judicial Panel for Economic Disputes of the Supreme Court of Russia.
