ALUMNI Partners advises Jones Lang LaSalle on selling its Russian business

Successfully represented the client in a series of litigations with former employees claiming unlawful dismissal and unpaid bonuses (six separate disputes with four employees). All the decisions were issued in favour of our client and were subsequently upheld by the court of appeal. We acted for the client in both instances.

Drafting a set of documents of varying complexity to regulate labour relations, as required for the employer’s communication with personnel. The set included employment contracts with top managers, regulations on business trips, internal labour regulations, job descriptions, complex personal data protection and labour protection regulations. In addition, we developed several personnel documentation templates.

We assisted the client in developing and drafting a Code of Conduct. In particular, we helped formulate the company values and principles, responsibility to shareholders, employees and investors, good faith in business relations, as well as detailed rules on company employees needing to meet high ethical standards in their behaviour while working for the company and help the employer conduct its business.

Successfully represented the client's interests in supporting termination of employment relations with a remote worker living and working 650 km away from the company's headquarters owing to improper performance of his employment duties. After employment was terminated, we also represented the client in court disputes initiated by the dismissed employee. All the disputes with the employee were won in all instances.
